Capsizing boat for Thames exhibition
A capsizing boat that won't stop sailing and mythical creatures swimming at twilight are to be installed in the river Thames later this year. They are among more than a dozen exhibits for DRIFT 08, London's first annual art exhibition on the Thames.
Other works created for the contemporary exhibition by major international and emerging artists include a bankside tower covered with red flowers, and a recreation of Blackfriars railway bridge using laser light. DRIFT 08 will run from 26 September to 19 October.
