Chris Craft Catalina 34 design revealed before Fort Lauderdale debut

The largest centre console model from the American manufacturers will be unveiled at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October

American motorboat manufacturer Chris Craft has revealed the design for its latest model, the Catalina 34.

Due to be unveiled at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (30 October – 3 November), the new 34ft centre console model will be the largest in the Catalina range.

A range of twin and triple-engine options will be available, along with a fuel capacity of more than 300 gallons to allow for long-distance excursions, with Garmin navigation tools on hand for plotting your course.

The layout includes a convertible sundeck, which can switch from sunbathing to seating with ease, while further back skippers can shelter from the sun under the Sport Top sunshade.

Jeff Ellis, vice-president of sales and marketing at Chris Craft, said: “The Catalina 34 was developed after high demand from hundreds of our Catalina owners.
