A Costa Europa cruise liner collided with the dock in Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt. The ship, carrying nearly 1500 passengers, slammed into the pier as it docked, leaving three crew members dead, officials said. The Costa Europa ship had been on an 18-day cruise from Dubai to Savona, Italy and had 1437 guests on board.
