Sawley Marina has become the first inland waterways marina to receive the Royal Yachting Association's prestigious Berth-holder's Charter.

The award is given in recognition of excellence in customer service. The Leicestershire marina was assessed over a series of visits from RYA officials on value for money, security, facilities, maintenance and cleanliness, as well as staff service and general ambience.
