Those looking for a boating kick over the winter can turn to two television shows about life on the water.
Waterstories, the British Marine Federation 18-part series produced three years ago and sponsored by the Environment Agency and British Waterways, is running on daytime Channel 4. It is about life on the inland waterways.
Splash Camp, the 10-part children's reality TV programme promoting boating to youngsters, will be broadcast for the second time in the early part of 2006 on ITV's new channel CITV.
