A new senior management team has been put in place at Bavaria Yachtbau. United States-based Bain Capital acquired the German manufacturer last year, and has appointed Klaus Hammen as chief operating officer and Dieter Berndt as chief financial officer.

They join the new chief executive Kay Schwabedal, who was brought in to Bavaria Yachtbau in November. Sources familiar with the company's trading say the new management team hopes to boost Bavaria's revenue this year by as much as 8%.
