Reassurance over river rabbit

Thames boat owners who saw a huge turquoise rabbit flying over the river are being reassured that they did not imagine it. Police, fire crews, paramedics and a helicopter descended on Walton-on-Thames after receiving reports that a man was hanging on to a giant rabbit flying over the town.
The flying bunny eventually came to rest when it got caught on trees alongside Walton bridge, and revealed itself to be a deflated rabbit-shaped helium balloon. “Fortunately there was no-one with the balloon,” said a Police spokesman, “but we are trying to trace the owner.”
