New yacht sinks after falling off freighter

US Coast Guards are investigating how a brand new 56ft yacht managed to fall off a freight vessel and sink in San Diego harbour. The yacht was one of a number being moved to the 10th Avenue Marine Terminal on 27 June when the incident happened
The yacht has been checked by Coast Guards for diesel leaks and will be refloated this week. Lt Josh Nelson, a US Coast Guard spokesman, said that the investigation will focus on the yacht movers to see if the accident resulted from a failure to follow correct procedures.
