The new Tamar lifeboat is launched in Eastbourne inline with the Diamond Jubilee

The latest RNLI lifeboat has been launched in honour of the patron of the RNLI, the Queen. 

Named Diamond Jubilee, the Tamar class lifeboat was launched on Monday to mark the celebration of the Queens Diamond Jubilee. 

It was 60 years ago that Her Majesty acended to the throne.
