An impressive starting price for this twin-tip sportsboat

Starting at £31,285, the cuddy-cabin Rinker looks like a very competitive package.
The twin-tip design means you win a wide, safe foredeck with a cabin below.
The cockpit and helm feel well protected by 1ft 6in coamings.
A sunbed, full-width bench and twin swivel seats make up the seating plan, with a central walkway from the bathing platform to the helm.
There are plenty of grabrails to guide you but the daycruiser image is hurt by the lack of a cockpit table.
The cabin is wider than average, but access to it isn't great.
Inside, V-shaped seating converts into a comfy 5ft 9in-long double berth, with two integrated backrests providing very comfortable lower-back support.
The V6-powered Rinker treated us to a ride that was way above average. The upwind ride is slightly harder than some conventional-hulled sportsboats, but the downwind ride is excellent.

Verdict
A bowrider makes more of the twin-tip design, but this is still a smart package
