Princess opts for the best of both worlds by keeping its hardtop soft
| For: | Good cockpit, plus sharp and elegant styling and handling |
|---|---|
| Against: | Restricted headroom in midships cabin |
Princess has kept the V42 hardtop as open as possible by opting for a fabric roof system for its cockpit that bunches up on sliders.
This has the effect of making the V42 feel like an open boat when the roof is rolled back. The two-part cockpit incorporates plenty of seating in and around the helm, and a U-shaped dinette.
Below decks, Princess has gone for a traditional forward master cabin, with twin mid cabin behind - both have en-suite access.
If possible, go for the biggest engine package of twin D6-370s to get the most out of this exciting sportscruiser, which offers first-class handling and ride.
