A stream of misfortunes hit John and Fionn on the 26th leg of The Great Motorboat Tour from Kilmore Quay to Padstow.
The day started positive with glorious sunshine and a pleasant breeze but shortly into their trip they were advised to make a detour off Lundy Island to avoid a firing range. Once on track again they discovered the nagging engine problem had raised its ugly head again and the result was not good.
