Peter Martin, Carl McConkey, Rick Miles and Mark Farrell, from Bangor, Ireland, enter the record books by becoming the first people to steer an amphibious car across the Irish Sea from Donaghadee Harbour to Portpatrick in Scotland. Inspired by the antics of BBC's Top Gear team, the Bangor men spent the summer creating an amphibious car, now called Sir Tristram, from a Renault Laguna they purchased for £100.
